SABIS® Personalized Adaptive Learning (SABIS PAL®) is a new learning system that is available online and offline to SABIS® students as a downloadable application.
Powered by advanced artificially intelligent (AI) algorithms and robust learning processes,
SABIS PAL® allows individual students to follow their own path at a pace that is comfortable and conducive to learning.
Depending on individual student's varying academic capabilities and performances, the system continuously selects the most appropriate question and
content to be provided to them. As a result, SABIS PAL® effectively increases the chances for individual mastery on course learning points while
challenging students at just the right level.
Within the downloadable application, students will be able to access the various SABIS PAL® courses that they are enrolled in. Each course is rich in
content and interactive questions to assess and improve on students' knowledge and mastery, and these are respectively aligned with course learning objectives.

The SABIS® Adaptive Engine
The SABIS® Personalized Adaptive Learning system (SABIS PAL®) is driven primarily by the SABIS® Adaptive Engine, a collection of advanced mathematical algorithms and embedded methodologies and learning processes. Through these scientifically-based models and procedures, which describe the essential steps of execution and progression through the academic curriculum, students are provided with the most-suitable content based on their ability levels.
SABIS® Adaptive Engine:

The Research Behind it
In 1984, renowned educational psychologist Benjamin Bloom made a breakthrough discovery – he found that the average privately tutored student performed better than 98% of students who received conventional classroom instruction. The difference was personalized learning – the “holy grail” of education.

Powered by a collection of AI algorithms and the latest research in learning science, SABIS PAL® continuously adapts to students’ learning capabilities, progress, and performance. Using customized Item Response Theory (IRT), advanced statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms,
SABIS PAL® constantly analyzes and mines the rich stream of data resulting from the interaction of the learner with both the curriculum and the content. This rich information enables SABIS PAL® to instill in every student a strong sense of confidence and engagement by adapting the content to each student’s individual profile by selecting the most suitable difficulty level activity.

Using SABIS PAL®
SABIS PAL® is intended to be used by any and all SABIS® students. Specific use cases include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Student learners who seek to be further challenged are able to stretch their interests and knowledge thanks to the well-developed SABIS® academic curriculum boasting content of various difficulty levels.
