"I graduated from ISC-Cairo in 2017.
I am now a first-year student at the University of Sheffield studying bioengineering after having received the AP® scholarship from the university. During the summer right after I graduated, I worked as a content writer in a sustainable building company in Egypt called Hand Over.
I enrolled in the SABIS® Study Abroad Program in 2013 as an 8th grader. Thanks to this program, I now have a network of friends from many countries around the world with whom I’m still in contact even after 5 years; one of whom is at the same university as me! The SABIS® Study Abroad Program gave me the chance to be in an international community abroad. It also taught me how to behave independently and responsibly and feel at home even when I am far from home. This helped me a great deal during the transition period to university as an international student."
